Description

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team. • In this role, you will focus on automating infrastructure, ensuring security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle, and enhancing the platform’s overall scalability and reliability. • You will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure a secure, efficient, and resilient architecture for Meetsta's growing user base. • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and secure deployment. • Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, following DevSecOps principles. • Build and maintain automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management. • Collaborate with developers to ensure gRPC services, APIs, and microservices are secure and optimized. • Monitor and improve platform performance, scalability, and security. • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to support continuous integration and deployment efforts. • Implement security policies, protocols, and best practices to safeguard Meetsta’s platform and data. • Respond to and resolve system alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities with a focus on root cause analysis and remediation. • Ensure platform availability and stability through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting. • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis across the platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to enhance system architecture with security-by-design principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Prior experience in DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field. • Experience with security practices in server environments, and containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes). • Expertise in CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) with a focus on security integration. • Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Strong understanding of the Linux Operating System. • Experience with gRPC and microservice architectures is a plus. • Knowledge of security frameworks and tools like OWASP, CIS Benchmarks, and security scanning tools. • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go. • Familiarity with building dashboards by using monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK Stack, etc.). • Having Certifications in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Cybersecurity is a plus.
