Description

• Megaport is experiencing exceptional growth in Southern Europe • Build a reputation for being an expert in SDN, cloud interconnection, and SD WAN • Reporting directly to the Head of Sales Southern Europe • Hybrid role with a focus on direct and indirect selling • Collaborate with sales management, solutions architects, and marketing teams to create go-to-market campaigns • Contribute to the pre-sales process by crafting the best solution design for the client when required • Recruit, onboard, and develop channel partners • Establish trusted advisor relationships with partners • Engage in technical conversations with partners and customers • Work cross-functionally with multiple business units, partners, and solution teams • Ability to articulate a high level of understanding of data networking, cloud computing, and virtual private networking

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the Italian IT ecosystems • Direct and indirect sales experience in selling 'as a service' or network solutions • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business units and partners • Established partner network in Italy • Ability to articulate a high level of understanding of data networking, cloud computing, and virtual private networking • Consultative selling skills and proven track record of achieving revenue targets • Self-motivated and results-driven with strong prospecting, qualifying, and closing skills • Entrepreneurial mindset, flexible, and adaptable • Comfortable working in a flexible and remote, globally distributed work environment • Native Italian speaker with business-level proficiency in English • Able and willing to travel up to 40% of the time
