Description

• MentorMate creates durable technical solutions for digital transformation • Work closely with accounting and operations teams • Participate in month-end closing process including journal entries and financial reporting • Support with audits and tax filings • Coordinate with external and internal tax compliance partners • Analyze balance sheet and P&L flux • Assist in preparing month-end financial packages • Support HR in payroll processes • Manage legacy entity tasks and client reports • Handle daily supplier and customer invoicing tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 3+ years relevant accounting experience; public accounting or corporate accounting • Working knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS preferred) • Ability to work independently and on a team, meet deadlines, ability to thrive under minimal guidance • Experience with automated accounting systems (Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) • Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and strong analytical skills • An interest in or aptitude for identifying and resolving problems, suggesting improvements to various internal processes • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to establish credibility, make decisions and forge relationships
