Description

• Help shape long-term strategy for banking and other products. • Lead design solutions to scale experiences and handling complexities. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk partners. • Work across design stack, including speccing, designing workflows, visuals, and quality implementation. • Find elegant solutions to user problems. • Simplify and cull design elements effectively. • Craft designs from first principles. • Prototype multiple visual and UX concepts. • Communicate product decisions effectively with team. • Mentor other designers to uplevel development and execution.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in the design industry. • Worked in fintech, banking, or relevant industries • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners at senior levels. • Comfortable running quantitative & qualitative research. • Strong understanding of using metrics to inform design. • Ability to design whole systems, not just interface elements. • Experience and interest in UI/UX, visual and interaction design. • Experience building for a variety of form factors, including mobile and web. • Understand when no design is the best design. • Anticipate and design for edge cases. • Understand balance between perfect design and getting to market. • Exhibit kindness and humility in interactions. • Enjoy working with fellow designers.
