Description

• Play a key role in accounting and reporting operations of the business • Manage and oversee the preparation of consolidated group financial statements in accordance with IFRS • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the accounting team • Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess impact on financial reporting • Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts for each entity • Calculating and maintaining records of accruals and prepayments • Ensuring accounting of revenues and associated costs are fully reconciled • Maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements • Variance analysis to prior periods and the budget • Maintain strong balance sheet control through detailed monthly reconciliations • Assist with the annual external audit • Coordinate tax compliance computations and adherence to global tax legislation

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant with a recognised body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) • Experience of working within a similar role • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting requirements • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret high volumes of financial data • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments • A high degree of organisational and strategic thinking skills • Knowledge of accounting systems • Capable of working effectively within a small team
