• The Director of PR is responsible for all activities designed to reduce the sales cycle by creating awareness, a positive brand image and story, providing educational collateral, clearly articulating MeridianLink’s value proposition, differentiation, and targeting the right audiences for MeridianLink. • The role is also responsible for external communication strategies and execution. • The Director of PR will work collaboratively with executives, product development, demand generation, content marketing, and product marketing teams to develop content and communications programs. • This role will oversee media relations, source, and manage the vendor and own the writing of press releases, copy for marketing materials, reports, advertisements, and other related material. • The role will serve as the company's public face in external communications through the development of relationships with industry leaders through media and communication outlets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer engineering, computer science, communications, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience. • Prior experience working in a PR agency supporting B2B clients is desired. • Prior experience working in B2B SaaS company is required. • Public company experience is preferred. • FinTech industry experience is highly desired. • Strong leadership experience. Experience managing people is required. • Excellent communication skills with external stakeholders and internal executive stakeholders is required. • Ability to work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. • Ability to persuade others in sensitive complex situations while preserving relationships. • Ability to apply knowledge to convince other stakeholders of desired outcomes.
