• MERIT is a global clinical trial endpoint expert specializing in multiple therapeutic areas. • Seeking talented people to join our team dedicated to collaboration and customer focus. • Duties include administering activities regarding oversight and review of spirometry and pulmonary function tests. • Responsible for preparing training materials and conducting training sessions for sites, subjects, and personnel. • Reviews tests for appropriate data and technique, assists in developing training sessions, conducts educational sessions, and drafts study documents. • Provides professional presentations, prepares materials, and attends study-related meetings. • Promotes quality and continuous improvement, organizes work assignments, applies creative problem-solving, and maintains communication with team members and management.
• BA or BS degree in business, nursing or related field from a four-year college or university. • A minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training in reviewing spirometry and pulmonary function tests, preferably in a health care or service-related environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Supervisory and/or management experience preferred. • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to follow direction, assess Company needs and work independently. • Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to learn Company specific software. • Must be able to project a professional attitude and image appropriate for the work environment. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. • Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment as a team member or in a leadership role. • Oral and written communication is clear, concise, and effective. • Ability to maintain neutral approach when resolving conflicts and utilize the Human Resources area as a resource. • This position requires a flexible work schedule with occasional on-call availability to meet the demands of ongoing clinical trials. • Ability to travel, domestic and international, up to 10%
