• Interview, build, and mentor a high-performing business development team. • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and ensure they are met. • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance. • Acquire new users among Liquid funds, Individual whales, DAOs, and other top token holders. • Nurture customer relationships to find new opportunities and grow business with them. • Establish new partnerships with DeFi projects, wallets, custodians, and self-custody platforms. • Create and implement strategies to drive growth and achieve business development goals. • Monitor market trends and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. • Work closely with the marketing team to align business development strategies with marketing campaigns. • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals to achieve targets. • Represent the company at industry events: Attend conferences, webinars, and other events to network and promote the protocol. • Develop and maintain strategic alliances: Foster long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the DeFi and blockchain communities.
• Deep knowledge of the DeFi ecosystem, with familiarity with various blockchains, DeFi platforms, and basic blockchain analytics • 2+ years in a Head of Growth role within the industry • Strong network and relationships within the blockchain industry, including key stakeholders and influencers • Robust existing connections in the DeFi and wider Web3 community • Proven background in a rapidly growing tech company environment • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills: Can create compelling proposals and lead successful negotiations. • Strategic thinker: Able to develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and secure key partnerships. • Proven track record of driving user acquisition and engagement: Successful in onboarding individual token holders and institutions to increase protocol TVL. • Analytical skills: Capable of analyzing market trends, user behaviors, and other data to guide business development strategies. • Entrepreneurial mindset: Experienced in a startup environment, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Strong collaboration skills with a focus on community-driven initiatives.
