Description

• Play a crucial role in creating and executing Tiko's detailed strategy to address mental health issues. • Be the technical expert on mental health at Tiko. • Organise and promote mental health initiatives, conduct research, engage in social behaviour change communication, and advocate for awareness and support. • Lead the development and contextualisation of the mental health prevention and response/services strategy in all Tiko markets. • Create and enhance mental health advocacy tools to emphasise importance and impact. • Develop global and country-level mental health partnerships. • Develop skills and knowledge of internal teams for effective implementation of mental health offers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in leading and implementing projects addressing mental health issues in at least two African countries, with a specific focus on the needs of adolescents and young people. • Experience working with the Governments and especially the Ministry of Health on strategy and delivery efforts and managing donors. • Strong networks with funders, technical assistants, working groups, and agencies that support mental health interventions. • Former clinician with a focus on mental health.
