📋 Description

• Leading medium scope projects through the detail design and implementation phase. • Providing electrical system input to Project Engineer during design review meetings. • Supporting Project Engineer during transition from Detailed Design to Final Engineering. • Reviewing and providing Electrical Engineering input to Description of Operation (DOO) & Functional Specification (FSD). • Facilitating project meetings as required by project cadence. • Developing Electrical Engineering work plan to ensure successful project milestone achievements. • Leading Controls Layout review meetings with internal teams and Client. • Updating project team on the current status of project: Compiling project status reports. • Managing electrical scope utilizing DOO and FSD. • Conducting site visits to assist with installation and commissioning support activities.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year engineering degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar engineering program) from an accredited college plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience • Conveyor control process experience (photoeyes, solenoids, variable frequency drive, line scanner, print and apply application) • Knowledge of and ability to work with and manage multiple suppliers • Ability to work effectively on a team and support high levels of performance • Advanced collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal communication) • Experience working with MS Project and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Experience in standard design of relevant material handling equipment for position • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Promis-e, or E-Plan for electrical design • Flexible and approachable • Ability to self-motivate • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills • Ability to travel domestically and internationally in support of our projects • Ability to perform essential functions of the job
