📋 Description
• Welcome to Miaplaza! Our vision is to elevate online learning by applying successful approaches in virtual education to create an inclusive homeschool curriculum. • Our K-8 platforms include Miacademy, Always Icecream, and Clever Dragons, and our 9-12 options include MiaPrep and MiaPrep Online High School. • We are currently looking for 4-5 Curriculum Developer Interns to join us over the summer. • The Internship Program provides essential business insights and hands-on experience while contributing to Miaplaza’s innovative approach to education. • You will learn to develop and support the development of a variety of learning materials for a K-12 student audience, including instructional activities and educational video scripts. • Compensation is $26 - $28/hour, with paid time off.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing an Advanced Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field • Minimum 3.0 GPA or greater in current program • Knowledge of the structure of an effective lesson • Ability to differentiate instruction to make learning accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially written • Proficiency in using Google Suite • Excellent attention to detail • Growth mindset and motivated by constructive feedback • Proven ability to work independently, manage schedule, and meet deadlines • High standards of integrity and transparency • Access to a computer/laptop (with camera) and reliable high-speed internet connection
