📋 Description
• 100% remote (with significant crossover with CET) • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure focusing on scalability, performance, and security • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software development and deployment • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment • Monitor system performance and security, responding proactively to incidents and optimizing resource utilisation • Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters, containerised applications, and microservices architecture • Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and uptime • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate DevOps best practices into the development lifecycle • Ensure compliance with security standards and implement best access control and data protection practices • Research and introduce new DevOps tools and methodologies to enhance system reliability and developer productivity
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role • Expertise in GCP • Extensive experience with Kubernetes • Extensive experience with Linux system administration and networking • Experience managing PostgreSQL installations • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Circle CI, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar) • Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar) • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages • Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimise system performance • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
