Description

• Performing complex CAD work. • Work with engineers and clients to resolve issues. • Reading and understanding client standards and specifications, other project related documents, and meeting their requirements. • Review and implement lessons learned from previous projects. • Review own work before sending out. • Perform CAD checks per utility standards. • Create and verify Bill of Material. • Upload drawings to AutoCAD Vault. • Data and document entry into various platforms. • Scanning, copying and filing documents. • Reporting safety, health, and quality issues to management. • Assist management as directed. • Project scheduling. • Perform tasks under the assigned hours. • Perform the detailed physical design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel as well as ACAD or MicroStation and Revit. • 8 years + of experience on technical, engineering projects. • CAD training in AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or MicroStation. • Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical. • Understanding of wiring diagrams, cable routing, or substation layouts & sections. • Electrical Engineering degree required/P.E highly encouraged.
