Description
• Join a fast-paced legal team • Support a mission-driven company • Work on challenging legal matters
Requirements
• J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar • At least 6 years of relevant legal experience. In-house experience a plus, ideally in the technology industry • High degree of professional ethics and integrity • Experience in leading contract negotiations • Ability to drive cross-functional projects • Strong business acumen and practical approach to legal challenges • Experience advising clients and managing projects on deadlines with minimal supervision • Experience collaborating with business teams and other members of the legal team (regulatory, product, privacy, etc.) to ensure business needs are met • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex legal points and concepts to a diverse array of internal stakeholders • Ability to quickly learn new software applications and technologies and associated legal issues • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Strong proofreading skills • Ability to juggle many competing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment • Excels at working independently and as part of a team • Willingness to learn and take on matters outside your primary practice areas
