Description

• Miovision provides modern tools to improve traffic problems • Seeking a Software Engineer to push the boundaries of traffic technology • Work on full-stack applications involving complex IoT and data management problems • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile sprints

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 2 years of experience as a full-time Software Engineer • Alternatively, 4 years of experience as a full-time Software Engineer without a Computer Science degree • Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining high-impact software solutions • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to write clean, efficient code and deliver reliable software solutions • Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Snowflake, Python, Spring boot and Typescript with a proven track record of developing robust, scalable applications • Experience with Docker and container orchestration, ensuring that applications are efficiently deployed and maintained • Deep understanding of Apache Kafka and the design of distributed, event-driven systems • Ability to handle large-scale datasets, with excellent knowledge of data pipelines and processing • Proven experience analyzing complex datasets to drive insights and decisions • Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining IoT solutions, with a focus on data stream management • Expertise in building robust publication-subscription systems for real-time communications • Proven expertise in AWS cloud managed applications • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and best practices • Awareness of security best practices, especially within IoT and distributed systems • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to influence, guide, and learn from others in a team setting • estimating and managing work with the agile method and with Jira workflows
