📋 Description
• Collaborate with Animators, Storyboard Artists, Technical Artists, and Programmers to create animations for upcoming titles. • Assist in the development of high-quality in-game animations and cinematics. • Reference storyboards if provided. • Develop strong visuals and poses representing characters. • Present work and incorporate feedback from team members. • Commit to milestones and deadlines while maintaining project style. • Refine animation processes to increase productivity. • Animate diverse and compelling characters/creatures.
🎯 Requirements
• 5 or more years with Autodesk Maya • 5 or more years in Unreal Engine 5 (clear understanding of Blueprints, State machines and Level Sequences) • Ability to animate in a variety of animation styles and disciplines- (including cinematics, performance-based ranging from realistic to cartoony, gameplay and prop) • Ability to pivot at any point in time during production • Body mechanic mastery • Work with shooting reference • Expertise in the principles of animation • Expertise to animate both characters and creatures (biped and quadruped) • Self-motivated, unshakable strong work ethic, an excellent team player • Ability to communicate with peers and other disciplines, mentor junior and mid animators • An effective communicator, well organized and punctual • Understanding of JIRA and Confluence • Meets all deadlines during sprints • Creativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions • Work closely with Tech Animation to provide feedback for rigs • Work closely with the Team Lead to help plan, facilitate and promote growth within the animation team
