Description

• We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Automator with knowledge of C# to join the IT team on a permanent basis. • Our customer deals with settlement and power balancing in the UK, connecting power producers and consumers. • You’ll be part of a team ensuring consumers have enough power available to use.

Requirements

• Very good understanding and experience with automated testing patterns, principles, practices: testing pyramid, unit testing, component testing, e2e. • Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle. • Ability to specify quality test scenarios. • Be able to contribute to user stories refinement and project tasks estimation. • Ability to review and specify User stories acceptance criteria. • Good defect management skills. • Proven track record with API automated testing using C#, .Net framework, SpecFlow. • SpecFlow Experience (2+ years). • C# programming language expert (5+ years). • Contract testing of web services / microservices. • Good knowledge and understanding of web services and related technologies – HTTP, RESTful services, XML, JSON, etc. • Good understanding and experience with the following Azure Services: Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Insights, Azure Key Vault. • Excellent understanding and experience with Git and Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
