Description
• The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. • This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes. • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with big data technologies, cloud platforms, and collaboration.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in data engineering in a modern tech stack • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala • Strong experience with big data technologies • Expertise in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake • Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles • Experience with IaaS technologies (e.g. terraform) • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and collaboration skills
