We help advisors streamline their practice so they can focus on building better connections, deliver better solutions, and help their clients lead better lives. • We have raised $20 million in seed funding, led by Thrive Capital, with participation from 12 unicorn founders from Hippo, Plaid, Reddit, Flatiron Health, Newfront, At Bay, Vouch, Cedar, Lattice, and more. • We are seeking experienced Brokerage Managers with a strong network who are excited to advance their advisors’ practice through technology and an exceptional brokerage team. This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Life Insurance Brokerage Manager at a general agency and familiar with multiple carriers. Prior experience at a carrier is fine, but your most recent experience needs to be as a Brokerage Manager with an agency. • An existing network of life insurance and financial advisors who view you as their "go to" person. • Consistently generating a minimum of $1 million in annual life insurance premium • A strong understanding of life insurance case design. You don't need to be an underwriter, but you do need to understand life insurance products and what underwriters are looking for. • A sense of urgency and the ability to perform well under pressure. • Amazing communication skills and is able to speak with confidence. • The ability to truly listen to their advisors and then share that feedback to help the company improve its product offerings. • A burning desire to change the life insurance industry. This is tech company, afterall, and we need team members who want to play a part in building the best life insurance distribution software/products on the market. • Experience with Winflex and/ or Ensight

• Equity - With Modern Life, you'll have skin in the game and the opportunity to earn true wealth over the long term with equity in the company. • Industry-Leading Compensation - The Brokerage Manager will receive a base salary of $65,000 - $85,000 as well as uncapped commissions. The OTE for this role is $160,000 - $200,000.
