📋 Description
• About the Company Mod Op is a full-service advertising agency with offices in multiple locations. • About the position Quality Assurance and Authoring can be complex, but you make it simple. • You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our digital marketing campaigns, websites, applications, content author and other tech-driven initiatives. • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and designers to understand project requirements, objectives, and specifications. • Perform comprehensive testing (functionality and visual) across various digital platforms. • Clearly document and report identified issues using appropriate bug tracking systems. • Collaborate with the development and design teams to analyze and diagnose issues. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. • Stay updated with industry best practices and proactive suggestions for improvement. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of a project are thoroughly tested. • Assess the user experience of digital assets, providing feedback for improvement. • Create and update project documentation for instructions and training purposes. • Participate or teach in working tutorials sessions any relevant information. • Creation and maintenance of content for webpages through CMS authoring tools. • Follow company technical processes. • Provide status updates of open tasks to project managers. • Daily record time invested in projects.
🎯 Requirements
• English speaking, reading, and writing. • Advance computer knowledge. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • Proven experience as a QA Tester, Content Author, Copywriter or in a similar role, preferably within a marketing agency or digital environment. • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and QA processes. • Proficiency in using bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or Monday, and familiarity with project management tools like Smartsheet, 10K, Monday, etc. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report bugs and collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore), and testing tools (Selenium, TestComplete, BrowserStack, Katalon) is a plus. • Experience with test automation and scripting is desirable. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. • 36 months of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, SDET or similar roles on the technological field.
