📋 Description

• Modula is the leading US manufacturer of vertical lift machines (VLM) and automated storage and retrieval systems. • The Service Sales Specialist is responsible for driving service revenue growth by developing and managing relationships with both end users and dealers. • This role involves promoting and selling service agreements, preventive maintenance packages, spare parts, and additional service offerings to maximize customer satisfaction and retention. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment service sales, a proactive approach to customer engagement, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years of technical sales experience is required; experience in the VLM/ARS industries is a plus; a combination of education and experience can be considered. • Minimum education of a high school diploma required; vocational school diploma or higher in related field is preferred; knowledge and understanding of costing, margin, markup, and profit preferred. • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in current versions of MS Office is required, experience with SAP ERP a plus. • Strong knowledge of service agreements, preventive maintenance, and aftermarket support strategies. • Experience working with both direct customers and dealer networks. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. • This role requires up to 80% travel, including customer site visits and dealer meetings within the assigned territory. • Proximity to states within territory or a major airport preferred.
