• Who we are: Moniepoint is Africa's all-in-one financial ecosystem, empowering businesses and their customers with seamless payment, banking, credit, and management tools. • About the role: The Head of Credit Risk Management is responsible for ensuring the implementation of top-tier credit underwriting policies aimed at minimizing credit risk and non-performing loans. • Candidates must demonstrate expertise in credit underwriting processes, possessing a profound understanding of their underlying principles and objectives. • Furthermore, fostering a collaborative relationship with credit business leaders is crucial. • Analytical prowess is essential, particularly in interpreting and leveraging existing credit data, which serves as a valuable repository of insights. • Key Responsibilities include innovating and optimizing the underwriting process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, analyzing existing credit data, staying abreast of industry trends, developing and maintaining risk management frameworks, and providing leadership to the credit risk management team.
Requirements
• A minimum of a B.Sc/H.ND in any business related discipline • A minimum of 5 years experience in lending in a credit risk related role • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis and credit monitoring • A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage
