Requirements

● Theme Development and Customization: Design and develop custom Magento themes based on client specifications. Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices. Customize and optimize existing Magento themes for better performance and user experience. ● Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate visual designs into functional e-commerce storefronts. Integrate Magento with other systems and applications, such as payment gateways and shipping services. Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities. ● Website Performance and Security: Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix performance bottlenecks. Optimize website speed and performance to enhance user experience and search engine rankings. Implement best practices for front-end security and data protection. ● Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for Magento-related issues and troubleshoot front-end problems. Stay updated with the latest Magento features and updates to enhance site functionality. Conduct training sessions for clients on managing the Magento frontend. ● Project Management and Delivery: Work with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of e-commerce solutions. Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, and schedules. Document all code changes and developments thoroughly for future reference and maintenance. ● Required Skills and Qualifications: Hard Skills: Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Deep understanding of Magento theming components and architecture. Experience in developing and customizing Magento themes and plugins. Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Knowledge of the Hyva themes is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Expertise in front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation. Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proactive and adaptable to new technologies and methodologies. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. ● Key Technologies: HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Magento 2.x theming and customization. Front-end frameworks (e.g., TailwindCSS, Bootstrap, Foundation). JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AlpineJS, jQuery). Hyva themes. Version control (e.g., Git). Adobe Photoshop, Figma, or other design tools for slicing and dicing graphics. Task runners/build tools (e.g., Grunt, Gulp). Browser developer tools for debugging and performance optimization.
