Requirements

• Has extensive experience with Ruby on Rails • Knows their way around both SQL and NoSQL databases • Experience with cloud hosting providers (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, Heroku) • Checks their code with unit and integration tests (e.g. RSpec) • Equipped with real-world GIT experience • Comfortable with the UNIX/Linux command line • Working knowledge of creating and maintaining infrastructure using terraform • Create and maintain CI and deployment pipelines using Github Actions • Has experience with Docker • Is passionate about continuous learning and staying current with the latest technology trends • Values diverse perspectives and enjoys collaborating with a variety of people and ideas • Takes pride in delivering high-quality work and always maintains professionalism • Communicates effectively in both spoken and written English • Has experience across the entire project lifecycle from kickoff through to production deployment and ongoing maintenance • Writes clean and SOLID code that adheres to best practices • Thinks critically and is able to choose suitable architecture for a project (we like but are not limited to clean architecture, services-based) • Bonus points if you are comfortable working within an agile, iterative environment, including estimating time and managing feedback • Are experienced working with legacy codebases • Have experience with Kubernetes and/or AWS Fargate
