•The Public Affairs and Communications Lead plays a critical role in fostering relationships and developing strategic partnerships with media and other key industry stakeholders •This role involves developing and executing strategies to support Montu’s reputation and ensure alignment with regulatory and policy environments •It works closely with our PR and other externally facing teams to align core messaging and communications activities •This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, extensive experience in public affairs, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes •Develop and implement the public affairs strategy for Montu's corporate brand and its brand portfolio •Build, strengthen and maintain collaborative relationships with key media partners, working in alignment with internal teams such as PR and other Corporate Affairs and Patient Advocacy colleagues •Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that align with shared goals, such as media, government, policy advocacy •Represent Montu in public forums, conferences, and industry events •Work collaboratively cross-divisionally and/or cross-functionally to bring in critical insights to inform strategies and key decisions •Create and implement public affairs strategies to enhance Montu’s reputation amongst key stakeholder groups, and demonstrate our commitment to earning our social licence to operate •Develop strategies to position the organisation as a trusted partner within the healthcare space •Develop multi channels communication strategies to support Montu’s share of voice with key stakeholder groups •Develop messaging and content for press releases, speeches, and public statements •Liaise with internal teams to ensure Corporate and Public Affairs efforts align with business objectives and regulatory guidelines •Provide insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and strategic planning •Track and report on partnership outcomes, project milestones, and progress
•Tertiary qualifications preferred •Proven experience in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors •Strong experience in Media Relations and an extensive media network •Project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate effectively •Background in Journalism, Policy advocacy or health communications would be highly desirable
