• About Moonsong Labs • Moonsong Labs is a cutting-edge Web3 incubator focused on driving projects and ideas in the next wave of developer and end user adoption. • We're assembling a dream team of brilliant minds who are as excited as we are about building the future of the internet. • Together, we'll disrupt traditional industries, empower individuals, and create a more equitable and transparent digital landscape. • The Protocol & Innovation Team • We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer who will help develop core blockchain node software, blockchain infrastructure/tooling and other low level software for various blockchain networks including for the Moonbeam Network, zkSync, Starkware and Polkadot. • Problem domains include cryptography, security, networking, game theory, zero knowledge, finance, political science, and programming language design. • Your Role • Development will be done primarily in Rust with some of our projects leveraging the Substrate framework. • The ideal candidate is an experienced backend developer that has low level programming experience in Rust, C, or C++, and who is familiar with developing, testing, and troubleshooting blockchain network protocols. • In this position you will have the opportunity to design and build software that involves a wide variety of considerations.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant programming experience • Strong experience with Rust, preferably 2+ years • Experience with core client development for crypto or blockchain based systems is a big plus. • Experience building complex developer tools in the web3 space is a big plus • Experience with Substrate (blockchain development framework) is ideal • Experience with Solidity / Ethereum / EVM is a plus. • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript a plus
