• Lead Engineering Services on a day to day basis. Management & mentorship of the MSL Engineering Services team, technical oversight across projects. • Be the main engineering point of contact with other internal teams, closely collaborate with business operations and account management to ensure profitability and successful customer outcomes. • Overall responsibility for service and deliverable quality and that contractual requirements are met. • Overall responsibility for technical project risk assessment, work with other business stakeholders to mitigate these risks. • Partner with bd and account management to be the voice of engineering in growing the engineering services business, renewing existing business, and addressing any service related issues and concerns. • Championing and implementing standards, tools, and best practices across the org including software quality, testing, license compliance, and other areas. • Foster an environment of learning, growth and technical excellence within the engineering services team. • Achieve high levels of engineer employee satisfaction, maintain low attrition and lead necessary recruitment initiatives. • Manage engineer performance evaluation process and promotions.

Requirements

• Previous experience running and managing an engineering team. • 8-10 years of relevant working experience. • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline. Master’s degree is a plus. • Technical and software engineering background and experience. • Interest in web3 and AI is highly desirable. • Experience understanding and negotiating contracts and agreements is desirable. • High level of commercial awareness, good understanding of financial management and reporting. • Good writing skills with an ability to explain complex concepts and issues in a clear and accessible way. • Demonstrated ability to present to and work directly with an executive customer audience. • Good attention to detail while working well under pressure.
