Description

• Join a fast-growing company advancing mental health and wellness for K12 students worldwide! • The Director of Finance will oversee all financial operations, from financial planning and analysis to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. • Provide strategic guidance to the CEO and other executives, ensuring the company’s financial health aligns with growth objectives. • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives. • Conduct financial modeling and risk management analysis to support business decisions. • Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational and investment needs. • Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, tax, and compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency. • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with business goals. • Provide regular financial forecasts and track performance against budgets. • Identify key drivers of revenue, costs, and margins to optimize financial performance. • Partner with the CEO and board to support capital raising and manage relationships with investors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, planning, and analysis. • Start-up (SaaS) experience or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. • CPA designation is highly desirable. • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
