ā¢ Job Title: Video Editor / Graphic Designer ā¢ Location: Remote ā¢ Work Shift: US time zone ā¢ Working Hours: 20 hours per week (Part-time) ā¢ Job Description: We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Video Editor/Graphic Designer to join our creative team. ā¢ This individual will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling multimedia content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience. ā¢ The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical video editing proficiency and strong graphic design expertise, ensuring a high standard of creativity in all projects. ā¢ Key Responsibilities: Edit and assemble video footage for digital platforms (social media, websites, ads) with a focus on rapid iteration and production of 'ugly ads' that prioritize performance over aesthetics. ā¢ Utilize advanced editing techniques, including motion graphics, audio syncing, and color grading, to ensure high-quality output. ā¢ Design engaging visual content for digital and print materials (social media, ads, presentations, etc.), adhering to brand guidelines and project objectives. ā¢ Collaborate closely with media buyers and creative strategists to align video and graphic outputs with creative and campaign goals. ā¢ Tailor video and graphic assets for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Meta, ensuring familiarity with their unique specifications and best practices for optimization. ā¢ Contribute to storyboarding and scripting to enhance the content creation process. ā¢ Design and produce content that supports A/B testing, ensuring visuals are tailored to experiment with different hooks and creative angles informed by media buying performance data. ā¢ Handle multiple video and design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. ā¢ Maintain an organized workflow for editing and asset management. ā¢ Key Themes: Data-Driven Decision Making; High-Volume, Low-Cost Content; Direct Response Focus.
ā¢ 3+ years of experience as a video editor and graphic designer, preferably in a digital marketing, advertising, or creative agency setting. ā¢ A degree in graphic design, multimedia arts, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required with sufficient experience. ā¢ Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. ā¢ Expertise in graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Canva, or Figma. ā¢ Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory, with a portfolio that showcases creative range and technical expertise in both video editing and graphic design. ā¢ Experience with animation or motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects). ā¢ Familiarity with website and UI/UX design principles. ā¢ Understanding of performance marketing and A/B testing for creative assets. ā¢ Ability to work precisely with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of a project is polished and professional. ā¢ Capable of generating fresh ideas, experimenting with creative concepts, and taking the initiative in developing visually engaging content.
