Description

• Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to execute strategies for optimizing the supply chain, including inventory management, procurement, and distribution. • Create and manage delivery notes, and bills of lading for outgoing solar equipment shipments. • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure Moss’s products and equipment's accurate and timely movement. • Track and oversee shipments, escalating issues or delays to the Logistics Manager and proposing resolutions. • Maintain accurate documentation of shipments and related logistics activities, providing reports to the Logistics Manager as needed. • Coordinate transportation logistics of Moss-owned equipment, including working with service providers, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company standards. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and share insights with the Logistics Manager to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. • Act as a liaison between the Logistics Manager and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution. • Contribute to the preparation of logistics performance reports and recommend cost-saving measures. • Stay informed about industry trends and share relevant updates with the Logistics Manager to support continuous improvement initiatives. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager or other leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. • 1-3 years of experience in equipment management, fleet management, or similar roles within the construction industry, preferably in solar or renewable energy. • Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, maintenance practices, and safety regulations. • Familiarity with solar construction is a plus. • Willingness to travel regionally to various sites.
