โ€ข Solve complex challenges associated with large-scale mapping and localization by applying state-of-the-art methods and techniques. โ€ข Drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions by applying state-of-the-art methods and techniques to scale production maps. โ€ข Develop and deploy scalable and efficient onboard and offboard software. โ€ข Collaborate with experts across autonomy, including perception, motion planning and controls. โ€ข Prioritize safety above all else in designing and implementing software solutions, ensuring the highest standards of safety in our autonomous driving efforts.

Requirements

โ€ข Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics or a related field. โ€ข 2+ years of experience shipping production software in mapping and localization. โ€ข Strong C++ software engineering and algorithm skills in a Unix environment. โ€ข Deep understanding of SLAM, particularly state-of-the-art visual and visual-inertial SLAM. โ€ข Strong fundamentals in nonlinear optimization and numerical linear algebra. โ€ข Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn. โ€ข Ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple teams, researchers and engineers. โ€ข Experience applying machine learning techniques to SLAM problems.
