• The Manager of Data Science, Advertising at Mozilla will lead the data science efforts related to our advertising initiatives. • You will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing ad performance, and ensuring that our advertising strategies align with our ethical standards. • This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of data science in the context of digital advertising.
• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field • 8+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on digital advertising • Experience with ad tech, programmatic advertising, and the digital media ecosystem • Proven track record of leading and scaling data science teams • Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and SQL • Strong understanding of privacy-preserving technologies and their application in advertising • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies for non-technical partners. • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization. • Commitment to our values: • Welcoming differences • Being relationship-minded • Practicing responsible participation • Having grit
