📋 Description
• Wisestaff, LLC seeks a paralegal to perform litigation funding underwriting services on behalf of our client company. • The individual will oversee all aspects of litigation funding underwriting including investigating case merits and plaintiff temperament. • Work as part of a team to ensure viable funding options are assessed, processed, and monitored efficiently. • Analyze the merits underlying the complaint and evaluate the facts of the case. • Ensure funding company interests are aligned with those of the plaintiff. • Monitor funding outcomes and recommend policy changes to reduce poor funding outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of personal injury litigation experience, as a paralegal, insurance adjuster, or similar. • Plaintiff and defense personal injury experience is a plus. • A four-year undergraduate degree is preferred. • Management or leadership experience is important. • Must be able to develop, implement, and maintain very organized methods to managing daily activities. • Basic computer use, Microsoft Office, and Excel spreadsheet skills are required. • Bilingual with the ability to speak English and Spanish is preferred.
