Description

• About us: Multi Media LLC is a leader in digital innovation, focusing on creating modern products for the content creator community. • We’re looking for a Lead Data Platform Engineer to help us scale a data platform that processes petabytes of data to support our analytics, data science, and machine learning teams. • In this role, you’ll lead the team that handles the entire ETL, data warehousing, and data governance processes. • You will coordinate closely with the head of engineering, head of product, machine learning, and analytics teams to build roadmaps, prioritize work, and drive team success. • In particular, you will: • Lead and provide ongoing mentorship and support to the data platform team. • Administer and manage Snowflake and other data infrastructure. • Serve as a subject-matter expert and decision-maker for data security, governance, and performance. • Collaborate with analytics and machine learning teams to ensure they have the tools and infrastructure to deliver game-changing data products. • Manage team’s daily operations.

Requirements

• Proven technical leadership or management experience in the areas of data engineering, analytics engineering, or data infrastructure. • Deep expertise in ETL architecture and infrastructure tools. • Excellent knowledge of SQL and data modeling tools. • Excellent knowledge of Snowflake platform. • Nice to have: • Experience with DBT (data build tool), GCP, and AWS. • Expertise in DataOps and security.
