• EMAPPLY is seeking a skilled professional Australian Business Tax Specialist to join a growing Australian accounting business. • Responsible for assisting with managing tax compliance, preparing tax returns, and assisting with tax advice to clients. • Opportunity to work with a diverse client base and contribute to the successful operation of a growing accounting firm. • Ideal role for junior to experienced tax professionals with experience working with Australian business taxation. • Experience submitting Australian tax returns highly preferred but not essential.
Requirements
• Xero accounting experience preferred • Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant/ Business Accountant/ Assistant Accountant or similar role • Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations essential • Australian Self managed Super Fund experience highly preferred • Proficient in using tax software and other accounting tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • CPA qualification or similar certification • Experience with tax audits and inquiries • Knowledge of financial statements and reporting • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Self sufficient work from home setup - stable internet, UPS, secure computer, headset and webcam
