• Job Title: Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper • Location: Remotely in South Africa • Job Type: Full-time • About the Company: Our client operates in the dynamic field of accounting, providing expert financial services to a diverse range of clients. • Role Overview: Join our client's team as a Tax Accountant/Bookkeeping professional and play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and compliance. • Key Responsibilities: • Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records • Reconcile transactions and accounts to ensure accuracy • Prepare company financial statements and tax returns • Assist in preparing client Business Activity Statements (BAS) • Liaise effectively with clients to address financial queries and provide guidance • Meet strict deadlines for financial reporting and compliance • Utilise Xero and/or MYOB software (or similar) for accounting tasks • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes
