• mx51 is a payments-as-a-service solution for banks, non-bank acquirers, and other merchant service providers. • As a mid-level Golang Engineer, reporting to our Back-End Engineering Team Lead, you will contribute to developing our platform, used by major financial institutions in Australia. • Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, fault-tolerant microservices to support our backend infrastructure. • Create and optimise RESTful and gRPC APIs, ensuring scalability and performance. • Implement robust data models and query optimizations for PostgreSQL databases. • Drive continuous improvement in code quality through code reviews, testing, and refactoring. • Collaborate with DevOps to containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes clusters on AWS. • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs. • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to our tech stack.
