📋 Description
• The Network Architect will design, maintain, and optimize Milo’s IT network, collaborating closely with both IT and Manufacturing teams to ensure network resiliency. • This role involves participating in network architecture design for infrastructure refreshes, new installations, improving documentation, validating configurations, and security enhancements and remediation. • Design and implement robust network solutions to support business needs. • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime. • Configure and maintain network hardware, such as routers, switches, access points, and firewalls. • Automate processes so that systems adhere to best practices and documentation is up to date. • Ensure network security by implementing best practices and regularly updating systems. • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and optimize network efficiency. • Participate in on-call rotation to support critical business infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years of experience planning and maintaining enterprise class networks in a team environment • Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems or related field is desired. • Prior experience managing projects with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability • Prior experience with Manufacturing Organizations is desired. • Prior experience in Azure Networking is desired. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a willingness to consider coaching and feedback. • Ability to communicate and prioritize tasks in a growing company.
