📋 Description

• As a Data Scientist at Mytraffic you will be responsible for answering business questions vital to our clients, based on data. • Mytraffic relies on a large amount of spatial datasets to model urban behaviour. • Our dataset streams come from both internal and external data sources. • Deliver analyses and insights allowing our customers to understand their business situation. • Provide models and tools to predict impacts and effects of potential decisions. • Recommend actions and decisions to maximise final revenue. • Design, develop, monitor, and maintain explanatory and predictive models. • Analyze a wide range of industries consumer's behaviour patterns. • Load & Extract data from our datalakes and databases. • Work closely with team members to develop optimal solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a related field. • Ability to approach complex problems with analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills. • Proficiency in Python programming, including the ability to write functions and classes. • Experience in analyzing data using Python and common libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn. • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms. • A good understanding of statistics, including probability theory and common statistical tests. • Experience with SQL queries. • Experience working on projects involving data analysis. • Familiarity with Linux systems and comfort working through the command line. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences. • Ability to find a balance between real-life constraints and desired outcomes. • Passionate about what you do. • Client-facing experience. • Fluency or understanding of French or German. • Experience working in a cloud based environment (AWS, GCP...). • Experience working with distributed databases like Google BigQuery. • Experience working with spatial data or GIS systems and/or mobility data. • Familiar with writing Python packages and tested code (e.g. PEP8, Pytest...)
