Description

• As a Data Scientist at Mytraffic, be part of a team called Predictive Analytics. • Responsible for answering business questions vital to our clients, based on data. • Rely on a large amount of spatial datasets to model urban behaviour. • Use internal and external datasets to deliver analyses and insights. • Provide models and tools to predict business actions and decisions. • Recommend actions and decisions to maximize final revenue. • Design, develop, monitor, and maintain explanatory and predictive models. • Analyze extensive spatial database to understand consumer behaviour patterns. • Work closely with Business profiles, Customer Success team, and other Data Scientists and Software Engineers.

Requirements

• BS or MS in degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a related field. • Ability to approach complex problems with analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills. • Proficiency in Python programming, including the ability to write functions and classes. • Experience in analyzing data using Python and common libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn. • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms. • Good understanding of statistics, including probability theory and common statistical tests. • Experience with SQL queries and relational databases. • Experience working on projects involving data analysis. • Familiarity with Linux systems and comfort working through the command line. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English. • Ability to balance real-life constraints and desired outcomes. • Passionate about what you build. • Client-facing experience. • Fluency or understanding of French or German. • Experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, GCP). • Experience with distributed databases like Google BigQuery. • Experience with spatial data or GIS systems. • Familiarity with writing Python packages and tested code.
