📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • My VA Support is seeking a Entry-Level Structural Designer with a high level of English proficiency (C1) for a full-time, remote position requiring 45 hours per week. • The successful candidate will work on various projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients. • The candidate will work on project teams with structural, mechanical, process, and electrical engineers, architects, and designers on designs for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries. • Project work includes: leading the structural Revit/CAD model creation and drawing production efforts on projects; and coordination with other engineering disciplines. • The successful candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment to develop innovative, cost-effective designs for new facilities, expansions, upgrades, and retrofits.
🎯 Requirements
• Eager to support staff with positive attitude, passion, and patience. • Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks Manage • Familiarity with CRSI standards for reinforced concrete detailing and AISC structural steel detailing • Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycle, and priorities. • Experience working with Autodesk BIM 360
