Description

• Oversee research projects, guiding a team of data scientists. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in genetic testing solutions. • Manage multiple research projects ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in quantitative fields (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Engineering) or related. • Minimum 7 years of experience in data science or bioinformatics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Extensive knowledge in machine learning, statistics, deep learning, bioinformatics. • Proficiency in data analysis tools and scripting languages such as Python. • Strong understanding of genetic data and bioinformatics pipelines. • Advanced experience with open-source machine learning libraries in a cloud environment. • Proven ability to apply mathematical principles to solve real problems. • Familiarity with assay development and analysis pipelines for biomarkers. • Proven leadership and project management skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
