Description

• As a Sr. EMR Systems and Support Analyst, your responsibilities include driving multiple projects in parallel that directly contribute to development, integration, support and functionality rollout and update of an Electronic Health Record system and supporting IT systems. • You will assist with workflow process optimization through building applications that are tailored to meet the laboratory’s needs. • You will use your expertise in EHR system’s capabilities and functional knowledge of workflows to assist in the integration of provider EMR systems and implementation of internal systems to help to meet process needs. • You will also monitor and support clients before and after implementation and/or interface deployment. • You will ensure that customer upgrades are done with quality while staying in line with their workflows. • You will also ensure that all required stakeholders are involved and informed throughout each project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical, Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, or commensurate experience • Minimum 3-5 years of direct work experience • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in directly dealing with EMR systems. • Exceptional oral and written communication skills • Customer research and survey skills – how to ask good questions, listen carefully, and synthesize information into clear customer and market needs with attention to details. • Highly organized with ability to manage concurrent deadlines • Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with individuals, and influence individuals across functional areas and in team environments. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teams • Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards • Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues • Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully with high quality deliverables while keeping stakeholders informed of progress • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities • Must be able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools • Understanding of clinical workflows and terminology in Healthcare IT is required. • Working knowledge of EMR solutions is required. • Strong understanding of healthcare business processes and technology is required. • Experience in acute care or ambulatory care settings is a plus.
