Description

• Lead a software development team in a fast-growing biotech company. • Architect, implement and support the genomics secondary analysis pipeline software engineering for Natera products. • Build and lead a distributed engineering team. • Drive process improvements and represent Natera pipeline software in audits. • Communicate and collaborate with project management and product managers.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or equivalent demonstrated industry experience. • 2+ years of proven track record of building and managing high performing engineering teams. • Extensive experience building genomics secondary analysis pipeline for clinical and research use. • 5+ years of experience in software development using Java or similar language. • Proven track record of using genomics and relevant NGS analysis tools such as DNANexus, Seven Bridges, AWS, GCP, WDL, CWL, BWA/Novoalign, Variant Callers, etc. • Experience developing software in a regulated environment. • Experience in and aptitude for leading remote teams.
