• About Nava: Nava is a consultancy and public benefit corporation working to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all. • Position summary: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for working closely with company and project executives, internal business partners, and the finance and accounting team to lead project-level financial, operating, and performance analysis. • As a client services company, we work with government agencies to improve how people apply for benefits, navigate their health care, and more. • You are a critical member of the Finance and Accounting team and will report to the FP&A Manager. • You will work as part of a remote-first team to deliver the highest quality internal support and solutions to cross-functional teams in a fast-growing company.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field or equivalent experience. • 2+ years of finance and accounting experience, preferably with growing professional services companies. • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in person, and via electronic mediums. • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, management, employees, consultants, and subcontractors. • Ability to read and interpret policy, regulations, and directives. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling, pivot tables, macros), Google Sheets, pricing software, and financial analysis tools. • Strong budgeting and reporting skills and a solid understanding of cash flow management. • Analytic and modeling skills and familiarity with income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows. • Experience performing financial management and reviewing work products for correctness, quality, and completeness. • Experience tracking, monitoring, reporting, standardizing, and overseeing project cost, schedule, and performance measures. • Experience managing, coordinating, and facilitating a team's efforts effectively and efficiently in multiple contract environments (i.e., Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price). • Excellent time management skills with keen attention to detail. • High level of personal integrity, ethics, motivation, and ability to foster mutual respect and inclusion. • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing environment while maintaining alignment across organizational boundaries.
