📋 Description

• Nava is a consultancy and public benefit corporation working to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all. • We focus on populations that are the least protected because the stakes are higher. • As a Technical Writer, you will support Nava’s Business Development team by producing high-quality, clear, and compliant proposal content. • This role translates complex technical concepts into accessible prose, leveraging modern methodology and technology (AI and Large Language Models). • You will support proposal teams in delivering compliant, complete and compelling responses while supporting Nava’s values: Be Active Stewards, Pursue the Root Cause, Think Long-Term, Build Together, Inclusion is Essential and Progress Takes Work.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field. • Have 5+ years of experience writing for government IT procurement, particularly federal, state, and local RFPs and RFQs. • Demonstrate the ability to translate technical and highly specialized concepts into clear, compelling, and compliant prose. • Familiar with AI tools (e.g., GPT, LLMs) for writing, editing, and research. • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to meet deadlines under tight timelines. • Exhibit excellent collaboration and communication skills. • Support proposal development in Agile, human-centered design, or custom software delivery environments. • Have a background in graphic or visual content creation to support proposal narratives.
