🎯 Requirements
• Full responsibility for compliance with HK AML (AMLO) regulations including localisation of policies, procedures and our registrations with Hong Kong Custom and excise. • Understand our obligations, Challenge assumptions, push boundaries, and make us better. • See a problem? Solve it. • One minute setting strategy, the next diving into sales calls or negotiating deals. • Startups are messy. You bring order without getting bogged down by process. • Fast-paced. High stakes. Priorities shift. You roll with it and keep moving. • This isn’t a cushy corporate gig. It’s hard, rewarding, and career-defining. • Previous experience (5 Years +) in an AML and MLRO position in the cross border payments space with proven experience and the ability to run entire end to end operations. • A qualification such as ACAMS or ICA, or a relevant degree in financial crime (Law, accounting) or similar. • Knowledge of the risk and controls needed to build an AML programme for a growing FX and payments business. This includes knowledge of how international sanctions and payments impact our business. • As the first person in the country, we'd like you to know a little more than just AML. If you can talk to us about Data Privacy, client fund protection or another area of regulatory compliance that would be great. • You can shift seamlessly from high-level strategy to on-the-ground execution—whether getting clients onboard or developing a new boarding process - We want someone who is hands on and strategic. • Decisive, persuasive, and driven by a high sense of accountability and reliability. • You bring resilience, adaptability, and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
