• NCBA CLUSA is searching for an experienced Consultant Writer available for multiple short-term assignments. • The consultant will support NCBA CLUSA’s bid preparation as a lead writer drafting and one-voicing the technical proposal. • Participate in the capture and proposal development process as a lead writer, integrating elements from the RFI/solicitation to support the proposal completion. • Review background information, interview stakeholders, and participate in strategic discussions to understand critical win themes. • Conduct desk research to support technical section development. • Work closely with the Proposal Manager and team to ensure that the proposal is cohesive and organized according to solicitation requirements. • Prepare pre-solicitation blue draft based on available information and existing capture materials. • Prepare revised “pink” draft following the release of the solicitation, aligned with the compliance matrix. • Participate in internal review meetings and incorporate reviewer feedback. • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to improve the quality of the final technical proposal.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. • Five years of experience in proposal writing/editing. • Experience drafting corporate communications for both internal and external audiences. • Ability to write and provide copy edits in English. • Ability to draft corporate communications in English. • Previous experience with US Government funding.
