Description

• Define and oversee the UX/UI design of NCBE products • Ensure products and services are accessible and user-friendly • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user-centered design principles • Lead the end-to-end design process for NCBE products • Champion accessibility in all product designs • Collaborate with user researchers for actionable design recommendations • Guide junior designers in creating effective user interfaces • Partner with product developers to integrate UX design into the product lifecycle • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs • Establish best practices and collaborate with development teams for accurate design implementation • Stay current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product design • Deep understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience implementing accessible designs • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 1 year in leadership or management role • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments • Passion for creating user-centered designs that meet the needs of diverse user groups • Proficiency in Figma (required) and understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) • Experience with Agile or Lean UX methodologies, and ability to integrate design practices into fast-paced development environments • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human-computer interaction, UX/UI design, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
