• About Roller Gaming • Roller Gaming, based in Sofia and London, is a dedicated player in the iGaming/iGambling/Sportsbetting/iLottery domain. • Our team of talented professionals works hybrid or remotely from various cities across Bulgaria. • We are looking for a passionate, self-driven, and experienced Engineering Manager to join the Technology department. • An Engineering Manager plays a key role in supporting development teams and is accountable for their effectiveness. • You will work closely with our development teams, supporting them in goal setting, planning, focus, and self-organization. • Our partner is an industry leader in the lottery industry providing innovative thinking and exciting, interactive games and services to customers over the last decade and more. • The full suite of their digital solutions includes world-class mobile application development, player engagement platforms, iLottery systems, and services, plus a variety of software solutions to help lotteries manage their operations. • Building and maintaining highly effective development teams, and supporting team members in delivering committed projects • Working closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, and other Engineering Managers within the company in creating a world-class software development operation capable of delivering premium solutions to our clients • Create and support a motivating and challenging work environment that enables the development team to grow their skills and professional development
🎯 Requirements
• You have a proven track record of successfully completing projects, experienced in Back-end Software Development in a service-oriented or microservice architecture • You strive to ensure that code meets standards and help foster collaboration among the engineering team. • You are passionate about agile software processes, reliability, and testability • You have a strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other various Agile practices • You thrive on helping teams organize themselves • You value team success over personal success • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging and style to suit diverse audiences from Software Engineers up to C-level executives • You are not afraid to raise issues and inspire change and continuous improvement • You are experienced working in a product-driven organizational environment • Solid English skills, both written and spoken • Solid experience in a similar management role
